where has the time gone...

Since Nash and Izybel just turned 2 last month, I have been feeling old! Where has the time gone! Today I was browsing through our pictures and I couldn't help but post some pics of these cute babies. They have grown up together and they love eachother. Me and Kendall always joke that they are going to be suprised when the day comes they learn they aren't brother and sister!
This was Izy on her first christmas. I love the outfit she wore... and look at those cheeks!!

And then there's this cute little boy. I loved this age about 3 mo.

I had to put this one up of Izy... she's such a divia, there were a million pics of her like this all smiling and showing off, and then there was this random one of her fake crying!!! What a girl...

And my little rudolf last christmas!

Me and Nashy last Feb. I seriously can't believe how much they change in just months. I love his curly hair..
And now they are all grown up! Izy tells kendall to shut up on a daily basis. And Nash just wants to sit in front of the TV and watch little bear all day. When I come in the room he says.. "det out mom!" I think I'm going to go cry now.... ;)

My favorite time of the year!

Fall is really my favorite time of you. I love everything about it. This year we went to the cutest pumpkin patch for family home evening. It had this cute little spooky forest and millions of pumpkins. Nash loved it!

Look at this cute little boy holding the pumpkin he picked out! He carried it around for days after!

And of course Justin complained the WHOLE time! If you know him you know why. He has a fruit and vegtable... phobia (I guess you could call it that)! He immediatly barfs at the sight or smell of ANY fruit or vegtable. So as you can imagine, he was so happy to go the pumpkin patch/ orchard. I snapped this pic as he was walking through some plum trees. He seriously was dry heaving when he noticed he was stepping in them. He told me he was throwing away those shoes too!

Nash would have played in the pumpkins all day long!

We each got a pumpkin and we went home to carve them! (Justin dry heaved the whole time while doing this too)!!

As you can see.. we don't mess around when it comes to pumpkin carving!!
Anyways, I just love Fall and everything about it!

Confessions

Okay, so after my last post, I thought I better get my confessions over with! So many people commented on Nash's cake and for some reason thought maybe I made it. I WISH!! My sweet neighbor, who is also my dear friend, offered to make Nash's cake and matching cupcakes for me. She gave me a great deal, cheaper than what I could have made it for. She did a great job, and Nash was in love. I could hardly keep him out of it before the party!
She is actually starting a business now, so I thought I better put a word our for her. Check out her blog http://www.krystalssweettemptations.blogspot.com/
She can seriously make anything you dream up and since she's just starting she's pretty cheap!

And yes.... they taste as good as they look!!! Delish!

Now.. to answer all your questions about Nash sleeping in his own bed. Well it's a bit pathetic and I've actually been avoiding that question! So we put him in his bed we laid with him for a bit and he fell right asleep. We got in our bed, he stayed in his. All was fine! But I just couldn't stand it and after a few hours I went and got my snoring child and put him right in bed with me and Justin!! I'm a weirdo.. I know! Go right ahead and judge all you want! I seriously need another baby, then maybe I could let Nash grow up a little!
Maybe more confessions to come .... ???

Happy Birthday Nash

I can hardly believe that Nash is 2!! I swear it was only a couple months ago that I was posting pics of his 1st Birthday. We had such a fun Birthday, all our family came over for a party, and Nash got spoiled as usual. He loved his special day this year, and was just happy all day long!
Birthday boy with his Grandma Julie! Doesn't he look so cute.... ?

This spring horse has been something he has been wanting. He was so excited when my Dad brought it in, he climbed right on and knew exactly what to do!

And of course his partner in crime, Izy, had to ride too!

This pic is priceless.. this was the look on his face when Justin brought out his cake with candles, he was so excited!

Happy Birthday to Dashy!!! For his birthday I re-did his room and we bought him a big boy bed. As we put him in last night, both Justin and I were sad. Our little boy is just growing right up. Way too fast. He has brought us so much joy in our life. I remember having him like it was yesterday, he was such a precious baby, so alert, and content when he was born. These last 2 yrs have been bliss, and I'm looking forward to many more years to come! Love you Nasharoni!

Sick boy

Last week poor little Nashy was a little sick. SOMEONE in our family had a case of Influenza A, which is basically the Swine Flu, and Nash got it. Poor little guy woke up Sunday night with such a high fever. The next day he seemed okay, and Debbie watched him while I got my hair done. When I went to pick him up his little eye was all red and weepy and he had the chills. So I took him in and sure enough, Influenza A. He was only really sick for about 3 days. He would just lay in bed and wanted me to hold him, while he watched Little Bear. And of course he had to have ALL of his horses in the bed with him.
The kid loves Little Bear, and constantly is asking me, "Mama, show?"

Since little presh here sleeps in our bed with us, me and Just got to sleep with all the horses too. Those plastic ones aren't so great to roll over on!!

Nash is feeling all better now, and luckily me and Justin didn't get it. The thing that stinks is that they are contagious for up to 7 days, so even though after about the 3rd day he was back to himself, we still couldn't go anywhere. I don't know what it is about not being able to leave your house, that makes you go stir crazy. It was actually nice to just stay home with him, and for a few short days have a nice little baby back who actually wants their Mom to hold them!

Today I am thankful for my family... I love them more than anything! As families we get to face all of life challenges together: trials, losses, anger, and tears. However without grief we would never know happiness, joy, love, and bliss. And all those things we get to face together as a family too! And I must say, when those good things come, they couldn't be sweeter!

So today, I am thankful... for a family, MY family!

terrible twos... way to soon

I have decided that there are some not so true statements when it comes to motherhood. It all first starts when you become pregnant. You know the whole morning sickness thing... well it's a lie.... because it didn't just last in the morning. Oh no.. I barfed my guts out all day and through the night. That's how the lies start.
Now we are dealing with a little thing called the terrible twos... another not so true statement... because Nashy isn't even 2 yet. You see when he was born... he was the sweetest little boy ever. I'm not even kidding you, or just saying this because I'm partial or anything. Literally, he was so calm and dosile, always happy. Most of our family would say they had never even heard him cry. There were days he really didn't ever cry too. Let's just say we are far from those days now. Daily I deal with a tantrums, hitting, biting, and a pinching boy. This boy is seriously WILD!
He climbs everything... gets into everything too. About 2 weeks ago we had our first trip to the ER for some lovely stitches. While we were sitting the waiting room he was jumping off the chairs and running all around, mind you with blood running down his head.

His poor friends and cousins take a brutal beating from him all the time. It is so embarrassing to have to be the mom saying " I'm so sorry he bit your kid... i swear he was only playing."

This is Nash at the fair with his cousins. That day he made his 10 yr old cousin cry by pinching his cheeks so hard. ADORABLE.. right?

It is true though, you just love your kids unconditionally. No matter what they do you always love them. They can hit you... bite you.... destroy all your expensive things.... and we still love them. Nash is definitely at a challenging stage right now.... there are days I feel near tears and like I'm doing everything wrong. He bites, and as a mom I feel like there must be something I'm not doing right. I have tried everything to get him to stop. No luck.. he is so hard headed and doesn't care about any kind of discipline.
I was telling my Dad the other day about how hard headed Nash is and he started laughing. He said ''hummm... let me think, I swear I know someone just like that... huh... who is it... oh yeah... my oldest daughter.. YOU.'' I guess I'm getting my payback, and if that is what this is, I know I'm in for a long road.
I'm not quite sure how to deal with him at times, but I'm going for the whole love him through it and have patience things. How about all of you.. any tips?!

P.S. we are still going to be making our blog private in a couple of weeks... i just want to give everyone a chance to get me their emails. I decided to do this because I added a little live feed thing on the side. I don't care about other bloggers or people I know looking at my blog, I just don't like how there are daily strangers across the world clicking onto my blog through a google search. So if you haven't yet... please leave me your email.
